air entrainment

we add air entrainment during the batching process. air entraining is an admixture made of liquid chemicals, it adds tiny air bubbles to the concrete. the air is mixed into the mix to increase the concrete's resistence to freezing and thawing and also deicing applications. air also improves workability and reduces bleeding and segregation.

water reducers

water reducers are used to achieve higher slump, lower water-cement ratio and decreased cement usage. there are high range and low range water reducing admixtures, both delay setting time.

mid-range water reducers:
reduce water content by 8-15% and provide a slump of 4 to 5 inches.

high-range water reducers: reduce water content from 12- 40% and provide a slump of 8 to 11 inches
